We offer postgraduate application support to Our Moon alumni and other students looking to continue their education.

Whether it’s to progress in their chosen fields or to explore their academic interests further, some students go on to study postgraduate degrees. However, further study is expensive, and scholarships can be hard to come by.

To give these bright young Zambians the best shot at securing a scholarship, we’ve compiled a database of fully-funded scholarships students can apply to.

After deciding where they’d like to study, students can receive 1:1 support from members of our postgraduate committee with university applications and admission interviews.

All students in this programme are welcome to become members of our Alumni Programme.

JANET SHINES AT OXFORD UNIVERSITY

“I met Helen when Our Moon used to send their students to study at Hillcrest. I was in Grade 12, and looking to leaving school and, hoped in time, I would be able to afford to study at University of Zambia.

I come from a family of five children. My father passed away a few years ago and life had become difficult for us. Helen gave a talk on the opportunities to study outside of Zambia and the importance of using the education to help develop our continent. I thought this could be a great opportunity for me, and went on to study Civil Engineering at the University of Edinburgh.

Since graduating from the University of Edinburgh, I’m now a Rhodes scholar studying a PhD in Civil Engineering at Oxford University. Our Moon has invested a huge amount into my potential, and it’s because of their support that I am where I am now.”
